Cryptocurrency hardware wallet developer TREZOR is teaming up with Wasabi Wallet to integrate the CoinJoin mixing service into its desktop application Trezor Suite. The first implementation of the news service is expected to be available not sooner than early 2023.

A spokesperson for Wasabi Wallet told in a commentary to media that as part of the agreement, Trezor's users will be able to join zkSNACKs WabiSabi CoinJoin rounds with their hardware wallet in the Trezor Suite application.

The news comes amid heated debates about sanctioning cryptocurrency mixing service Tornado Cash. Earlier in August, the US Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctioned crypto mixer Tornado Cash for laundering over $7 billion worth of crypto since 2019.
