Celsius Network is making another effort to stay afloat as the company has reportedly laid off 150 workers, which is a quarter of its staff, Calcalist has learned. As of press time, the company made no official announcement regarding the matter.
Earlier, Celsius said in a blog post that it is exploring "strategic transactions," including restructuring of its liabilities, among other avenues. The company added:
"These exhaustive explorations are complex and take time, but we want the community to know that our teams are working with experts from many different disciplines."
Celsius suspended withdrawals, swaps, and transfers, citing extreme market volatility, shortly after reports about Three Arrows Capital insolvency started circulating. As of press time, the company hasn't resumed its services.
