Blockchain.com has just launched a Visa debit card that offers a 1% cryptocurrency cashback.
The new product is reportedly available to US residents, however, company representatives have said they intend to launch the product in other countries in 2023.
The card allows users to pay for goods and services by spending funds from a crypto or fiat balance. Each purchase is accompanied by a refund.
Notably, users are not required to pay any annual fees for using the card or other fees.
Cuy Sheffield, director of cryptocurrencies at Visa, has said:
"We're excited to partner with leading crypto wallets and exchanges like Blockchain.com to unlock more ways consumers can use their crypto for everyday purchases."
Crypto platform Gemini has previously announced the launch of a similar product in partnership with Mastercard.
