The Mexican senator for the State of Nuevo Leon, Indira Kempis, comments on her impressions of the bitcoin ecosystem that is developing in the country after her visit to El Salvador a few weeks ago. In addition, under the premise of laws to anticipate the future, not only to resolve the past Indra Kempis will present a crypto law proposal to the Mexican Congress this year, which will be based on the one approved by the Salvadoran Congress.

«I have surrounded myself with several people who have worked with bitcoin for years. I have a community of entrepreneurs, of technologists, and of friends who are very knowledgeable and have told me for a long time, ‘you have to be and you have to be part of this world’ And now that I am participating in politics, I seek to promote it» — Indira Kempis.

She assured that El Salvador is becoming the most important hub or laboratory in the world for bitcoin in the future. «It is clear to me that financial exclusion is one of the public problems that few of us have addressed with feasible alternatives, and that this type of technology is allowing us to generate an alternative, a path, a solution so that millions of people can be included. in the financial system. She also explained how it can positively impact the development of countries, especially ours that have unequal development.

It was a pleasant surprise to find that what we heard here in Mexico through news and information has a specific plan and strategy to achieve financial inclusion, starting with making bitcoin a legal tender.

El Salvador is becoming a hotbed of a global community that already existed in itself, and now it is calling on them to use another type of economic model, to make this experience for the community and businesses that allow the opening possibilities of a new economy.

«It is a historic opportunity that this type of project is being carried out in a Central American country. Every time El Salvador was discussed, it was always to address issues of migration, violence, and organized crime, and now the world’s gaze is not on those public problems, but because of this great call at a global level with bitcoin» — she expressed.

«We need bitcoin to be legal tender in Mexico, because if it is not so, if we do not make that decision as El Salvador did, it is very difficult to take action.» — Indira Kempis, Mexican senator.

She explained that what has to be done right now is that inclusion and financial education are seen as rights for every Mexican.

She explained that work is being done on the basis that they are constitutional rights and that, through the political constitution, there is a legal basis to take subsequent positions.

«What I have been doing is opening the discussion so that the people, the authorities, and the Mexican political class begin to see this as the legal basis for the coming future, because you (Salvadorans) are showing that this can be possible.»

«I wondered: where was Nayib Bukele’s thoughts going when he put together this entire revolution? And it is that this leadership does have a first and last name. It does seem to me that this revolution will reach all countries, and the people who are excluded will have this opportunity to develop and be included in the financial system»

«Making bitcoin a legal tender means putting a level playing field for people who are excluded in almost all countries.»
